The overall GPA for Walsh’s 17 sponsored sports was 3.11. The women compiled a 3.16 GPA and the men a 3.05 GPA. “I am proud of our student-athletes for their success in the classroom,” exclaimed Walsh Director of Athletics Dale Howard. “Academic achievement is our top priority and goes directly with our success on the athletic field. To have 56% of our student-athletes achieve a 3.00 or better grade point average and to have 117 student-athletes on the dean’s list is quite an accomplishment. Our coaches emphasize academics on a daily basis. We are extremely proud of our academic achievement, and will honor the student-athletes at halftime of the men’s Mayor’s Cup game with Malone on Thursday night.” 2007 FALL TOP INDIVIDUAL GRADE POINT AVERAGES 2007 FALL TEAM GRADE POINT AVERAGES 2007 Fall Men’s GPA 3.05
