Ashley Monaco is a Professional Instructor in Accounting. She joined Walsh University in 2022 with over 6 years of experience working in the public accounting profession. Ashley graduated from Walsh University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Walsh University in 2016. She too earned her Master’s in Forensic Accounting from Ohio Northern University in 2017. Ashley is a licensed CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) and a CPA (Certified Public Accountant). She develops introductory level accounting courses such as Financial Accounting and upper level accounting courses such as Auditing, Advanced Accounting I, and Advanced Accounting II. Outside of the classroom, she serves as the faculty advisor for the accounting club on campus, IMA. Her primary research interests include auditing and forensic accounting.
