Rebecca Coneglio was appointed Vice President for Enrollment Management on July 1, 2019. Coneglio brings more than 18 years of leadership experience to this position in the creation and implementation of strategic higher education enrollment management plans. She previously served the University as Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management.
Ms. Coneglio is responsible for providing leadership and overall direction in enrollment planning, recruitment, and admissions for Walsh’s undergraduate, online and graduate students. As Vice President, she has responsibility for the vision, strategy, and implementation of all student recruitment-oriented initiatives and services. She also oversees our e-learning team in the design, delivery, and support of our online courses and program development. In addition, she collaborates with academic and student affairs in supporting the University’s retention efforts.
Ms. Coneglio began her career in 2003 with the Walsh University Office of Admissions. Among her many accomplishments, she was instrumental in creating and executing recruitment strategies to meet University revenue goals, strengthen the quality of applicants and provide steady enrollment growth, coupled with communication strategies and predictive modeling to build enrollment in targeted areas.
Professionally, she has been a regular presenter at the Ruffalo Noel-Levitz National Conference, the recognized leader in higher education enrollment and fundraising management solutions. She also served as Chair of the Ohio Private College Admission Directors (OPCAD) until 2017, and is currently an active member of AICUO Enrollment Leaders, and a Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVIS) Designated School Official. In addition, she has recently been appointed to Board of Directors for Stark County Catholic Schools. Ms. Coneglio is a recipient of the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce, ystark! Twenty under 40 award for 2020. She is currently a member of the 36th Class of Leadership Stark County’s Signature Program.
Ms. Coneglio earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Arts in Education from Walsh University.
