Byers School of Nursing Ranked Fifth in State

Nursing Schools Almanac has announced that Walsh University’s Byers School of Nursing has been named No. 5 in the State of Ohio, in a ranking of more than 3,000 nursing schools. Walsh was also named No. 35 in the Great Lakes Region by the Almanac.

Rankings were based on prestige and value, breadth and depth of programs offered, placements and exam pass rates. Additional information can be found at Nursing Schools Almanac.

The Ohio Top Five are as follows:

1 - Case Western University
2 - The Ohio State University
3 - Mount Carmel College of Nursing
4 - Xavier University
5 - Walsh University

Nursing Schools Almanac collected data on more than 3,000 institutions, with only 20 percent making the list of the best nursing schools in each geographic region.

Global Learning - Students can study at Walsh's campus just outside of Rome, Italy. In addition, Nursing students have unique opportunities to study global healthcare in places such as Haiti, Tanzania and Mexico.
