Walsh University Appoints Claire Corridoni as Director of Campus Ministry

Walsh University has appointed Claire Corridoni as the new Director of Campus Ministry. A passionate and dynamic leader, Corridoni brings extensive experience and a deep commitment to fostering spiritual growth and community engagement within the University.

Corridoni is an alumna of Walsh University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education in 2018 as a Blouin Scholar. Since graduation, she has dedicated her life to ministry, serving in various roles across multiple parishes and dioceses. Her journey has included significant work with NET Ministries in the USA and Scotland, where she led teams of young adults in retreat ministry and discipleship.

“Returning to Walsh University as the Director of Campus Ministry feels like coming home,” Corridoni said. “I fell in love with the family atmosphere and the strong faith community during my time here as a student. I am excited to contribute to the spiritual development of our students, faculty, and staff.”

In her new role, Corridoni will be responsible for ministering to the spiritual needs of the Walsh University community, promoting the Catholic faith, and fostering personal and social development. She will work closely with students, faculty, and staff to create a supportive and faith-filled environment. Corridoni’s duties will also include organizing retreats, service projects, and leadership training programs, ensuring that the campus ministry remains vibrant and inclusive.

“Claire’s extensive background in ministry and her deep connection to our university make her the perfect fit for this role,” said Father Albert Trudel, O.P., the University Chaplain. “Her ability to connect with people and inspire them in their faith journey is truly remarkable. We are thrilled to have her lead our Campus Ministry.”

Corridoni’s educational background includes a Spiritual Direction Certification from Divine Mercy University and additional formation in Theology of the Body. Her commitment to lifelong learning and personal growth equips her to provide exceptional spiritual guidance and support to the Walsh University community.
