We are finalizing details regarding our involvement in Welcome Weekend! Your in-person assistance will likely be needed as we’d like to do a fun, pop-up activity for students to engage with our office. Let us know if you’re available to help likely from 9 AM–Noon.
Today we will officially open the nomination window for our Outstanding Alumni Awards to be held on Friday, September 20. If you are interested in serving on the selection committee and have availability the week of July 22 to meet/select winners, please let me know! This is a great way to engage virtually with us if you aren’t local.
As you know, we will be bringing back a Viva Walsh Vegas/Farey Raffle-esque event to conclude Homecoming Saturday. This will be a massive undertaking for our office and will require quite a bit of planning and support. If you are interested in helping us plan the details of this evening, please let me know.
We will be hosting an industry-wide career fair on Wednesday, October 2. We are excited to welcome area employers and have them meet our students from all majors who are exploring full-time or part-time positions, co-ops, and internships. If you or your company are interested in attending, please Register Online. Annette Bernard will serve as our employer contact. Lastly, we will be doing a marketing blitz promoting this on all social channels (including a LinkedIn event). Your engagement with these posts helps increase our visibility.
