The Office of Grants & Sponsored Research (OGSR) was created to promote, encourage, assist and support faculty in their quest for securing external funding. Securing grant funding is a part of faculty scholarship that will support research projects, program development, training, service and student learning. OGSR assists faculty members through the grant funding process from start to finish. Services provided by OGSR include: identification of grant opportunities, assistance with proposal development and budget preparation, serves as a liaison with sponsoring agencies and collaborating institutions, assures compliance with sponsor guidelines, negotiates terms and conditions of awards, assists with report preparation and submission, and conducts relevant trainings for faculty development.
